
If you’ve given up your iPhone in favour of Android and not receiving some SMS or text messages, it’s probably because Apple is routing them to an iPhone that is no longer in use.
Apple automatically turn text messages from one iPhone to another iPhone into iMessages so when someone with an iPhone sends an SMS or text to your new Android phone, Apple is automatically sending it to your old iPhone.
Luckily, there’s a straightforward fix on this [rather hidden] page on the Apple website.
